I'm sure I speak for all the Ganssles near and far in expressing our sadness at Aunt Gerry's passing. My dad surely loved his little sister and I have fond memories of days long past when she visited our house. I'm sure there is quite the reunion above as all those who have gone before her welcome her to her new home! We wish all the Ryan's strength and peace at this difficult time. We love and miss you all!

"Comments" from Booie, Jeanne
After I've confirmed the date change with Tropicana, I'll post the number to call and the info you all need to reserve one of the blocked rooms. I hope this will be next week.
In the meantime, keep your eyes open at home for any old (or new) Ganssle pictures (or other memorabilia [sp?]) the rest of us might be interested in seeing at the reunion. We'll display them in our meeting room at the hotel.
Also, I've gotten some good suggestions from Franny and Renie for fun/interesting things to do at the reunion. If any of the rest of you have any ideas, please post them here.
One thing we plan to display is the Ganssle genealogy [sp?] produced by Cousin Theresa and her family. Very interesting!
Thanks.

Sounds like it'll be fun! What time should we plan to be there? My parents are planning to stay 1 night at the hotel.
Do you know who we expect to come?
The pix of Aunt Irene and girls is great!

I found your comment from before...If you go to the main page you'll see the big headings that show the 'posts' people have made. If you look down toward the bottom where the Ganssle Reunion post is, you'll notice at the bottom there is a little highlighted 'comments' and the number 6 or something. So, you posted a 'comment' then (and today) so it gets archived, I guess you would call it, on the 'comments' page, rather than the post that everyone can see at a glance. If you look at the top right corner on the main page you will see a 'new post' option. Highlight that and then you can type in your 'post' and then hit 'publish post' in the orange rectangle at the bottom....It is not easy to navigate but I think if we all get that down pat...'post' instead of comment...it'll be easier to keep track of everything we say...I think that's the way we should do it...Cecelia...did I explain that right?
Post Haste!
Well, I sent an email out urging Gansslites everywhere to try and check in and post on a regular basis. I hope we get some action here pretty soon!

I am just trying out the photo feature...seems much easier than the Picasa deal. Anyway, this is Grandma Ganssle (that just doesn't sound right...JULIA was THE Grandma Ganssle to us li'l ones!) Grandma Irene Ganssle with my daughter Nina Rossi (13..fun!) and Monica's daughter Caroline Perez (5...even funner). Cecilia, not sure if you can see it, but in the background is the picture of Mary and Baby Jesus that hung in your mom's house...(I think).
